Pinellas County has a THRIVING group of young people in Alcoholics Anonymous named PCYPAA(Pinellas County Young People in Alcoholics Anonymous) that have been bidding for the past 6 years to bring home, to Florida, a HUGE convention that is to be hosted by young people(or the young at heart;) here in Pinellas County.

In March, PCYPAA traveled to Pittsburgh, PA to submit their bid package to host EACYPAA in 2023.  EACYPAA 2023 will be hosted June 1st-4th at the Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront Hotel. The Eastern Area Convention of Young People in Alcoholics Anonymous meets annually. The convention provides an opportunity for A.A’s from all over the Eastern Area and the World, to come together and share their experience, strength, and hope as members of A.A.  EACYPAA is overwhelming evidence that large numbers of people are achieving a lasting and comfortable sobriety in Alcoholics Anonymous. Like any other convention, it is an opportunity to learn more about the program and sobriety.
